Josh's Class

Hello everyone, we hope that you’ve all had a great week and are ready for the last half term of this academic year!

In Summer Term 2, our topic was ‘Posters and Poetry’ and we read ‘Supeworm’ written by Julia Donaldson.

For the next seven weeks, the topic in Josh’s Class is ‘Tidy Up!’ and we will be reading another Julia Donaldson book called, ‘Zog’. This topic will also incorporate recycling and we will learn how to create posters to promote recycling in school.

In Maths we will be consolidating our knowledge on length, weight, capacity, number, place value and fractions and in Science, we will be exploring rocks, fossils and soil. Food Technology will include making an Eton Mess, Summer fruit smoothies, cake pops and we will be designing and creating a recycling bin in Design Technology. What a fun term we have ahead!!
