Hello to everyone in Leah’s Class,

We hope everyone has had a great summer and is ready to settle back into school!

The topic of focus for this term is ‘We are All Different’. In Art we will be developing our drawing skills with focus on self-portraits, celebrating our unique differences. In English we will be reading the book ‘Room on the Broom’, where we will be focusing on setting descriptions. This includes exploring environments and using our senses to help create setting descriptions of our own. In Geography, we will be looking at Burnley, learning about key features of our town and what makes our local area special.
