Libby's Class 2025 - 2026

Spring Term 2

This half term, Libby’s class topic is ‘Who had the most fun?’. We are exploring a range of exciting topics across the curriculum.

In English, we will be reading Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl. Alongside this, the children will be learning all about advertising. They will explore how adverts are designed to persuade, identify persuasive language, and create their own adverts using the techniques they have learned.

In History, we will be stepping back in time to explore leisure and entertainment in Victorian times. The children will discover how holidays, music, television, and technology have changed over the years and compare Victorian life with the present day.

In Science, the children will become mad scientists, taking part in lots of fun and practical experiments. They will be learning skills such as planning and preparing experiments and ensuring fair tests go ahead!

In Maths, we will be challenging ourselves further by focusing on Time, Addition and subtraction, Fractions, Length and Position and direction. Libby’s Class love a Maths challenge!

We are looking forward to a busy and exciting half term full of learning and discovery. Come back soon to see what we’ve been getting up to!
