Libby's Class 2025 - 2026

Spring Term 1

This Spring term, Libby’s class will be enjoying a wide range of exciting learning opportunities across the curriculum. In English, the children will be reading We’re Going on a Monster Hunt, using the story as inspiration for their own writing. They will develop their creative skills by writing diary entries, focusing on expressing thoughts, feelings and events in detail.

In Maths, the class will be building on key number skills by exploring place value, as well as learning about weight, shape and money. They will also be introduced to multiplication and division, developing confidence in solving problems and applying their understanding in practical contexts.

In Science, the children will be learning about evolution, exploring how living things have changed over time. Geography lessons will focus on earthquakes and volcanoes, helping pupils to understand natural processes and how they affect our world. In Food Technology, (we have some chefs upon us!) Libby’s class will be discovering food from around the world, learning about different cultures and ingredients while developing practical cooking skills.

Come back soon to hear all the amazing things we are learning about.
