Libby's Class 2025 - 2026

Autumn 1

This half term in Libby’s Class, we have an exciting range of topics to explore across all our subjects!

In English, we’ll be diving into the imaginative world of "Little Rude Riding Hood". This fun twist on a traditional tale will help us explore sentence structure, expand our vocabulary, and develop our descriptive writing skills to create exciting and entertaining stories of our own.

In Maths, we will be keeping busy learning number and place value, length weight and measure, addition and subtraction and shape! We can’t wait for all the maths challenges!

Our focus in Science will be the circulatory system. We’ll discover how the heart, blood, and blood vessels work together to keep our bodies functioning, and why this system is so important to our overall health.

We'll be learning all about Pendle Hill in Geography as we explore both its human and physical features. Using aerial photographs and maps, we’ll learn how to identify key landmarks and understand how people and nature shape the landscape around us. We will also learn how to navigate a compass!

Come back soon to see all the exciting things we have been learning!
