Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful half term holiday!

Our new topic is called ‘Wonderful Woodlands.’ The children will be exploring different woodland creatures and their habitats. In English we are looking the story of ‘We are Going on a Bear Hunt’ and ‘Owl Babies. We will also be exploring the themes of bonfire night this half term whilst also learning how to stay safe during this event.

The final 3 weeks of the Autumn Term we will be moving onto ‘Special Celebrations.’ We will be looking at celebrations such as Diwali and Christmas and why people celebrate these. We will then begin to read ‘The Nativity’ as we get closer to the holidays and begin our ‘Special Celebrations’ topic.

We are very excited for this half term in school and we look forward to showing you all the learning we have done.
