Courtney's Class

This term in Courtney’s class, children explored how music makes us feel and how it can help us manage our emotions. By listening carefully to different kinds of music, the children noticed how sounds could help them feel calm, happy, energetic, or thoughtful.

They then turned these feelings into self-portraits using colour, lines, shapes, and expressions. Instead of drawing what they look like on the outside, the children showed how they feel on the inside. Each artwork is a personal response, showing how music can change our mood and help us understand our feelings.

Keep checking in to see what our budding artists get upto over the next year!
