Autumn 1
A warm welcome to Danielle and Connor`s Class.
We have had busy summer and have a brand new classroom!
The children have already been busy learning new routines and navigating around a new part of Holly Grove. This year Danielle and Connor are sharing a class, the children have already adapted well to this.
We will be starting our weekly swimming sessions at St Peters swimming centre this week and will swim each Thursday afternoon up until Christmas. Please remember your swimming kits, a letter has been sent home with all the information
Our topic this half term is `Mindfulness`, we will be focusing on identifying and managing/ regulating our own emotions.
In English we will be learning about advertisements and creating our own adverts to showcase all our talents in class.
Our focus in Maths will be looking at number and place value, addition and subtraction, shape and length, mass and weight.
We have already started making new friendships in class and have found a new favourite song. The song `Bim Bum` is a song in which we clap, pat and click our fingers along to, the children are already keen to practice the actions and lyrics. Come back soon to see a performance of our song.
