Stay Play

In Leah’s class this term we have been looking at the book ‘Room on the Broom’. In English, we have been learning how to write our own setting descriptions based on Room on the Broom by using colourful semantics and exploring using our senses – we even took a trip to forest school!

During our Stay and Play session, the children enjoyed making broomsticks and witch hat biscuits inspired by the story, along with lots of other exciting activities. We even had a special visit from the witch herself, who helped the class create a spooky magic potion. It was a very fun afternoon!
