In Adam’s Class this half term, we have been looking at the book Handa’s Surprise. The children have loved learning about Kenya (where the story is set), the animals in the story and the fruits, which the cheeky animals steal from Handa’s basket.
The children really enjoyed exploring the different textures of the fruits and then sampling how they tasted.

The Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund was set up in 2009, in conjunction with her parents, in memory of a very special pupil who sadly passed away after many years of bad health.
