Lancashire Equality Mark
The Lancashire Equality Mark is awarded to schools who have taken measures to embed Equality throughouit their practice, with the goal of enabling all pupils to thrive in a supportive learning environment. We have recently received badges for Gender and Sexual Orientation with the following strengths:
"I was patricularly impressed with the inclusive environment and ethos across the whole school. The leadership of the school clearly demonstrates and models mutual respect between all members of the school community. This shows school leaders are passionate about this area of workand that the children are at the centre of everything you do. I would like to make special mention of the way you have engaged key stakeholders including prents and governors to develop your cucciculum with sensitivity."
