Spring Term 2 2023

Welcome back to Laura’s Class!

We hope you all had a lovely half term holiday.

The topic in Spring Term 2, ‘Where does it come from?’ will involve finding out where foods we eat come from. In English we will be reading ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ and we will be practising our writing skills to put together a set of instructions on ‘How to Grow a Bean Plant’. We will also be planting our own beans to grow bean plants, which we will observe and record the heights of as part of our Science and Maths lessons. In Food Technology we will be finding out where certain ingredients come from in the process of making a range of sandwiches and in ART we will be practising line pattern collage skills through making Mother’s Day and Easter cards to send home to you. We will share pictures of our work with you very soon.
