Burnley Sports Partnership

The Burnley Partnership continues to play an essential role in supporting our school with specialist opportunities to access sport and P.E at all levels. All children in Key stage 2 have the opportunity to participate with other Lancashire schools in a wide range of competitions. Specialist coaches have delivered a sports leadership programme to a group of year 5 and 6 pupils, who now support the delivery of P.E across the school. Through staff development and coaching support, Holly Grove offers daily physical literacy development across the curriculum. Our work with the partnership continues to be a success in helping all pupils to lead a more healthy, active and happy lifestyle.
