World Book Day 2023. This year we decided on a Roald Dahl Theme. Each class chose to read one of his famous books

Courtney’s Class – Matilda
Laura’s Class – James and the Giant Peach
Rebecca’s Class – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Libby’s Class – The Magic Finger
Julie’s Class – The Enormous Crocodile
Alex’s Class – The BFG
Connor’s Class – Fantastic Mr Fox
Danielle’s Class – George’s Marvellous Medicine
The children had lots of fun learning about Roald Dahl, doing lots of activities on their chosen book and as a treat, our upper school pupils got to go to the auditorium, watch Matilda the movie and eat popcorn. Some members of staff have also recorded some of the author’s Revolting Rhymes for the children to listen too.
