A massive welcome to all our new children and their families. It’s wonderful to be part of the start of your journey here at Holly Grove. The children are settling into school extremely well and enjoying the structure and routine. We cannot believe it will soon be Autumn. We have lots of wonderful activities planned to explore and experience the change of season.
This term we are learning ‘all about me’. We have been super busy making faces using all different types of media including using the touch screen to draw features of a face, painting a face, making face biscuits and plate faces. The children have been exploring using all of their senses and been very creative.
We have been reading ‘The colour monster goes to school’ and what happens during his day. The children have loved listening to the story and have been creating their own monsters, which we have displayed in class as they were so good.
